Today at North Shilin Science Park, Dumei Construction commenced construction on its flagship project, 'Da He Business Elite,' with a groundbreaking ceremony. General Manager Cao Junjie noted that despite challenges posed by US tariffs during the Trump administration, Taiwan possesses numerous competitive “hidden champions.” Currently, companies in the medical, biotech, and information technology sectors are actively seeking office space, resulting in approximately 20% of sales for this development.
Chairman Cao Lai Chun described 'Da He Business Elite' as a design tailored to meet corporate needs, integrating a prime location with an international architectural vision—a landmark building exceeding one hundred meters in height offering flexible spatial configurations. The project boasts convenient transportation links, scenic views, adaptable functionality, and sustainable features.
Su Jiaquan, President of the Taiwan-Japan Relations Association, highlighted North Shilin Science Park as a key technological hub for Taipei’s future development. He welcomed Dumei Construction's collaboration with an international design team to create a building that combines aesthetic appeal and practical utility. 'Da He Business Elite' is intended not only to serve as corporate headquarters but also to shape the urban landscape of Shilinx District, acting as a catalyst for industrial upgrading.
Cao Junjie indicated that each square meter commands between NT$780,000 and NT$800,000, with total sales projected to exceed NT$6 billion. Designed by renowned architect Kenzo Tange, the building rises 108 meters above a base area of approximately 3594 sqm, comprising twenty-four floors above ground and five below.
Addressing concerns about US tariffs under Trump’s administration, Cao Junjie affirmed that while Taiwan currently faces tariff pressures, its medical, biotech, and information technology industries remain highly competitive. The active pursuit of office space by companies in these sectors has already contributed to approximately 20% sales for the project.
Cao emphasized 'Da He Business Elite' provides seamless connectivity between Shilinx Station and Inner Lake with Nangang, facilitating rapid access to Taipei’s core business districts. The building is designed to accommodate a diverse range of industrial applications including strategic industries, smart manufacturing, digital research & development, and office registration requirements.
