Recently, the National Collaborative Poverty Alleviation Work Conference took place in Xiangyun County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Among the ten 'collaborative poverty alleviation model cases' recognized at the conference, Alibaba’s initiative – assisting agricultural, cultural, and tourism integration development in Leishan County, Guizhou Province – was the only one highlighted from a private enterprise.
The conference concluded that these exemplary cases will guide further collaborative poverty alleviation efforts, particularly in areas such as employment promotion, consumption stimulation, and the integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism. Leveraging its business and digital technology capabilities, Alibaba helped design a high-quality tourist route centered on local intangible cultural heritage experiences in Leishan County, generating over 10 million yuan in sales on its release day.
Through specialized training for local accommodation management staff provided by Fliggy (Alibaba's travel platform), villagers have become central to the development of rural tourism. The route also emphasizes the cultural significance of Cuibai Village, renowned as 'China’s No. 1 Silver Craft Village,' promoting traditional silverware culture through digital marketing.

Furthermore, Alibaba’s 'Find Beauty Together' rural tourism assistance plan has been implemented in several counties across Shanxi Pingding, Yunnan Lancang, and Zhejiang Jingning. This program focuses on promoting local culture through the design of quality routes and the training of local talent, driving the cultural and tourism industry towards innovation.
In the context of stimulating consumption, this model of agricultural, cultural, and tourism integration not only unlocks potential within rural tourism but also increases economic benefits for local communities while providing tourists with a unique and immersive travel experience.
