The Smart City Expo is currently being held at the Nangang Exhibition Hall. At this year鈥檚 exhibition, Da Toung showcases six key solutions including AI-enabled services, innovative energy provision, industrial and commercial power saving measures, electricity demand management systems, grid-strengthening core equipment, and EV drive systems. General Manager Shen Baiyan stated that the company is evaluating plans to construct a 100MW capacity power plant in Oregon, USA, with an aim of achieving a twenty percent increase in overseas revenue this year.
Shen explained that a stable electricity supply forms the foundation for smart city development and technological application; particularly given rapid advancements within AI industries which are driving global energy demands towards high growth trends. The adoption of green innovation, intelligent storage solutions, efficient power-saving measures, and effective management systems has become critical to future business strategies.
This year鈥檚 overseas operations will focus on markets such as the USA, Japan, Vietnam, and Thailand where electricity demand is substantial. In Oregon specifically, strategic partners have already secured 4500 acres of land for potential projects; Da Toung plans to send representatives soon to negotiate terms before initiating construction phases starting with a capacity of 20MW or 50MW, ultimately aiming for the final goal of establishing a power plant with an installed capacity reaching 100MW.
Shen further detailed that Da Tong operates across six major business sectors: electricity generation and distribution services, new energy solutions, ICT (Information Communication Technology), asset management, home appliances manufacturing, and electronics contract assembly. The power sector is the most profitable division, contributing approximately fifteen percent to overall revenue with a target of achieving twenty percent growth in overseas revenues this year.
In addition to showcasing their OneAI comprehensive solution鈥攖ailored according to industry needs and integrating AI computing architecture setup and data management among other services鈥擲hen highlighted efforts towards post-meter energy storage applications that not only reduce electricity costs but also increase self-sufficiency rates while decreasing peak load on the grid, thereby enhancing overall system efficiency.
To expand into residential energy storage markets, Da Tong Intelligent has incorporated Tesla Powerwall as part of its net-zero solution package and aims for an innovative board listing this year following a capital injection reaching 6 billion yuan. Furthermore, non-crystalline iron core transformers are emphasized due to their significant role in reducing standby power consumption by up to seventy-five percent鈥攎aking them suitable applications within factories not operating round-the-clock or renewable energy plants.
