Beijing, March 16 (China Radio International) - Following the exposure of non-standard wires and cables issues at CCTV's '3・15' Gala in 2025, concerns over market regulation and safety have once again come under scrutiny from industry insiders and society. According to statistics provided by China’s Ministry of Emergency Management, more than half of major fire cases domestically are caused by cables, making it the leading cause among all types of fires; there were over a hundred significant accidents due to cable-related fires in recent ten years.
