On April 10, OPPO officially launched its new Find X8 series flagship models and a range of smart ecosystem products. The lineup includes the Find X8 Ultra, featuring the LUMO Clarity Imaging System, the Find X8s, distinguished by its globally narrow frame design, and various wearable devices such as smartwatches and headphones.

According to OPPO, the launch represents a significant technological advancement, encompassing hardware innovation and breakthroughs in its AI ecosystem. The company highlighted the current critical period for global smartphone recovery, with forecasts indicating a 7.1% growth rate in 2024, reaching 1.23 billion units, and a subsequent slowdown to 1.5% in 2025.

OPPO's focus on AI applications鈥攑articularly in imaging, productivity, and entertainment鈥攈olds substantial potential for enriching the user experience. This strategy is underpinned by the company鈥檚 extensive patent portfolio, comprising over 110,000 patents globally, with a significant proportion classified as invention patents, especially in communication, imaging, and AI.

Domestically, OPPO is refining its product structure to cater to a broad spectrum of consumer needs while simultaneously expanding into international markets through localized approaches. The company has achieved notable success in customizing products for Southeast Asia, Europe, and Latin America, generating approximately 60% of its revenue from abroad across 70 countries and regions. According to IDC data, OPPO鈥檚 global shipments ranked fourth in 2024.

OPPO China President Liu Bo concluded by expressing confidence in the company's ability to navigate future market complexities through collaboration and a steadfast focus on innovation.
