The Japan International Exposition Association has announced that WiFi will be available at the East Gate of Osaka Expo to facilitate visitors displaying their entry ticket QR codes. On opening day, unstable network signals prevented some attendees from using a dedicated smartphone app to display digital admission tickets, resulting in significant delays between 9:30 AM and approximately 2:30 PM due to mobile phone signal interruptions near the venue.

The Association has requested major telecommunications companies enhance communication infrastructure at the site. Both Expo organizers and Osaka Prefectural Governor Yoshifumi Goto have advised visitors via social media to prepare screenshots or printed copies of their QR codes for a smoother entry process.
