On April 22nd, Hongxing Capital Bureau reported allegations of online rumors claiming that a portion of vivo’s e-commerce team colluded with third-party vendors to acquire Vivo devices and accessories through discounted channels. The alleged scheme involved assembling these products at reduced costs and selling them within the company's substantial subsidy channel for profit. These claims also suggested potential embezzlement, leading to the temporary removal of official stores from sale.

In response, vivo’s legal department issued a statement on its Weibo account dismissing the allegations as “rumors.” The statement emphasized that false information circulating online defames Vivo’s business operations and severely damages the company's brand reputation. Both the "vivo Official Flagship Store" and "iQOO Phone Official Flagship Store," vivo clarified, are directly operated by the company and currently function normally, offering new original products with full official after-sales support.

A customer representative from Vivo confirmed to Hongxing Capital Bureau on April 22nd that their flagship stores do not participate in any subsidy activities.
