On April 24th, The Paper reported that Xiaohongshu issued an all-staff letter emphasizing its commitment to building trust-based, long-term relationships with employees. Effective May 1st, the company announced it will no longer add new cash or option non-compete agreements, and existing agreements will be fully released. Departing employees will also be eligible to apply for option repurchases, and the biweekly Saturday work schedule has been canceled.
