Following the gala broadcast, searches for ‘medical pads’ increased by 530% compared with previous days while related sales rose by 320%. In response to consumers’ urgent need for reliable products, JD Health opened a dedicated channel that night. This initiative aggregates multiple brands offering medical-grade hygiene care items.

Medical pads fall under Class II Medical Devices in China and require strict certification through sterile environments and biocompatibility tests. Their core materials often include antibacterial fibers certified for use in medicine; some incorporate broad-spectrum antimicrobial technologies like copper or silver ions, achieving over 99% inhibition rates against common pathogens such as E.coli and Candida albicans.

"The core value of medical-grade products lies in 'verifiable safety,'" emphasized the head of JD Health’s Medical Device Business. "All items within this section must provide a certificate from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and third-party sterile testing reports; blockchain technology is used to trace raw material procurement through logistics delivery, ensuring consumers can easily check production batch numbers and quality inspection records."
