BoE Chairman Chen Yanshun Highlights Strategies in Emerging Fields Like Glass Bottom and Perovskite

On September 4th in Beijing at the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center, a grand opening ceremony was held for the 'BOE Global Innovation Partner Conference - IPC路2024,' themed "Screen-Connected IoT Gathering Wisdom Towards New Horizons." The event unveiled numerous industry-leading new products.
At the conference, BOE Chairman Chen Yanshun highlighted that moving forward, BOE will focus on emerging fields such as glass base and perovskite to lead the industry towards intelligentization and sustainable development. He also announced plans for over 500 cooperative research topics by 2030 with an investment of more than RMB1 trillion in R&D aimed at a procurement expenditure exceeding one hundred billion yuan, driving industrial growth through platform construction, incubation services, innovation collisions, and talent exchanges.
BOE President Gao Wenbao emphasized that BOE has always integrated sustainable development into its operations. Through the 'Green+, Innovation+', and 'Community+' three major concepts, it aims to embed sustainability in every aspect of corporate DNA. At this IPC conference, BOE pledged carbon neutrality for all operational activities by 2050.
During the event period, BOE showcased a series of globally leading display technologies and products alongside cutting-edge innovations across areas such as metaverse, esports, smart mobility, etc., along with over twenty ecosystem partners who also displayed their latest offerings on-site.
