Beijing, April 12, China Central Radio and Television Network – As travel increasingly becomes a lifestyle, navigating the vast amount of information to pinpoint the ideal journey can be overwhelming. The 2025 Ctrip Reputation List annual rankings offer a solution. This year’s list encompasses 1,525 hotels, 806 scenic spots, 801 restaurants, 291 destinations, and 392 night tours, expanding its selection radius and introducing the ‘Europe 100’ and ‘America 100’ series for the first time. New thematic dimensions, such as “Art Treasures Destinations” and “Global Seasonal Scenic Spots,” have also been added.
The Global Hotel List
The Ctrip Reputation List 2025 was unveiled in Yancheng this year, breaking geographical boundaries and introducing themed charts like ‘Europe 100’ and ‘America 100.’ Special selections, such as ski hotels in the Alps featuring unique design elements or traditional Japanese townhouses in Kyoto, are now showcased in categories including “Luxury Hotels,” “Local Charm Hotels,” and “Design Hotels.” A new category, '50 European Ski Hotels,' focuses on premium skiing areas like the Alps, highlighting hotels offering professional equipment rental and wellness facilities.
Seasonal Travel Focus
To address users’ seasonal travel planning challenges, this year’s scenic spot rankings have expanded globally, incorporating seasonal themes. Examples include cherry blossom train journeys and hot springs in Japan, winter ski fields like Zermatt in Switzerland, and tulip viewing at Keukenhof Park in the Netherlands. The Night Tour Chart has also been upgraded to include 392 items, ranging from cultural performances like London’s Phantom of the Opera to China’s lantern festivals.
Ensuring Authenticity
All entries on the Ctrip Reputation List are manually verified for accuracy and reliability, drawing on platform data and supply chain capabilities. The list team dispatches staff to evaluate multiple dimensions of each destination, including thematic concentration, scale, transportation, and service quality, ensuring thorough documentation for every entry.
Thematic Expansion
This year’s Destination Chart introduces sixteen vertical themes, including “Art Treasures Destinations” and “Ancient Towns & Cities,” covering well-known cities like Paris, London, and Beijing, alongside new series for American and European destinations. The 'Seasonal Travels' chart further enhances seasonal-specific experiences.
Taste-Led Journeys
The restaurant chart evaluates establishments based on quality, consumer preference, market popularity, thematic fit, and city vitality to select the top 100 restaurants annually, categorized into luxury dining, local cuisine, scenic dining, and signature dishes. A dual-track verification system ensures each entry offers both exceptional cuisine and a visually appealing atmosphere.
Inspiring Personalized Travel
According to the Ctrip Reputation List editor-in-chief, travel should be modular, providing personalized inspiration rather than endless planning. Ctrip data reveals that over one million users daily rely on the chart for decision-making, with nearly 70% influenced to follow recommendations.
Innovative Destination-Focused Routes
The new list also introduces destination-centric “Reputation Routes,” combining scenic spots, hotels, night tours, and restaurants into thematic itineraries. Users can customize these routes based on their preferences, receive optimal travel time suggestions, and book seamlessly through the platform.
