The China Central Radio & TV Finance Annual Dialogue 2024 took place recently in Beijing. During the event, Tao Jun, Vice President of Dean Diagnostics Technology Group Co., Ltd., addressed reporters from China Central Radio and Television (CNR).
Tao highlighted that the central economic work conference emphasized prioritizing innovation-driven development to foster new, qualitative productivity growth. Dean Diagnostics’ strategic focus includes technological innovation, specifically in artificial intelligence digitalization and multi-omics technology platforms.
Currently, Dean Diagnostics is focused on translating innovative medical achievements through two key areas: medical research and research conversion. Tao explained that the company bridges clinical challenges with emerging research trends, leveraging clinical insights to drive practical applications and rapidly integrating leading-edge international technologies.
Regarding the clinical potential of digitalization, AI, and multi-omics, Dean Diagnostics partnered with Huawei Cloud in 2024 to develop a medical test large model, combining healthcare with digital AI technology. The company plans to expand the application of these models across medical diagnosis and health management.
Tao further stated that Dean Diagnostics aims to innovate in digital medical technologies, progressing from digitized medicine toward intelligent healthcare, utilizing diagnostic data as a foundation.
