Dean Tao Jun Explores Innovations in Medical Achievement and the Role of Large Models in Healthcare Diagnosis

Beijing (January 2), China Central Radio Network - Reporters Guo Wei and Shao Lianjie with intern Liu Jiayi reported that the 'China Finance Annual Dialogue 2024' large-scale media event was recently held in Beijing. During this period, Tao Jun, Vice President of Dean Diagnostics Technology Group Co., Ltd., accepted an interview from China Central Radio Network.
Tao Jun stated that at the central economic work conference in December 2023, it was mentioned to lead new quality productivity development with scientific and technological innovation. Scientific and technological innovation is one of the strategic directions for Dean Diagnostics; they have always focused on innovative artificial intelligence digitalization and multi-omics technology platforms.
Currently, Dean Diagnostics mainly promotes the innovative development of medical achievements from two aspects: medical research and translational research. Specifically, Tao Jun introduced that, on one hand, based on pain points in clinical diagnosis and treatment, their current research directions are closely integrated with results to promote practical application back into clinics; on another note, focusing on new technologies at home and abroad, the company continuously introduces international advanced technology for rapid conversion.
"We pay close attention to the development of digitalization, artificial intelligence (AI), multi-omics, etc., as well as their clinical applications," Tao Jun said. "In 2024, Dean Diagnostics collaborated with Huawei Cloud in developing a medical inspection large model, which is an achievement combining healthcare and AI technology; we will apply this large model to the entire field of health diagnosis and management."
Tao Jun added that based on diagnostic data, Dean Diagnostics plans for digitalized medical technological innovation, promoting its transition from digitization towards intelligent healthcare.
