Yang Chiu-Chun Assumes Role as First Female CEO of Foxconn's Central Park

Since last April when Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. initiated the rotating CEO system, Lin Zhongzheng, General Manager of Group E Business Unit and the first rotating CEO, successfully completed his term and handed over to Yang Chiu-Jung, Director-General of Central Park as the second rotating CEO who will officially take office on March 31st. The ceremony was attended by members from Hon Hai's management committee, top executives across various business units, and representatives from central departments.
Hon Hai Chairman Liu Young-way stated that a key aspect for sustainable corporate operation is succession planning; the rotation of CEOs plays an important role in this process. Its aim is to rejuvenate internal leadership while fostering potential successors through divisional specialization and enhanced governance. The first rotating CEO was selected among business unit managers, aiming at comprehensive integration across units and improved operational performance. Yang Chiu-Jung's appointment as second rotating CEO from a central department aims for further consolidation between headquarters and regional operations with the goal of enhancing service functions to achieve stronger centralized management while enriching local capabilities.
Hon Hai highlighted that Liu Young-way commended Lin Zhongzheng鈥檚 outstanding contributions during his tenure, setting an excellent example. He emphasized how such rotation plans enable senior executives to develop a broader perspective as top-tier leaders and enhance their depth in business administration along with overall group operations coordination skills, aiming at establishing Hon Hai's management model globally.
Yang Chiu-Jung joined Hon Hai in 2007 after undergoing extensive training across various departments. She currently serves concurrently as the Chairman and CEO of Just In Time International Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. Due to her exceptional performance and dedication, she was appointed Director-General of Group Park last year when it first established a park organization system responsible for integrating global park needs and enhancing central unit service capabilities.
Yang Chiu-Jung stated that with collective wisdom, the rotating CEO model at Hon Hai will be developed into an exemplary management standard globally. She aims to ensure sustainable corporate governance through organizational strength and institutional power while building more agile leadership structures capable of swiftly responding to market challenges. As part of a relay race in succession planning, she plans on focusing on business administration by continuously promoting managerial optimization, standardizing and digitizing management systems with scientific work methods for better inheritance.
