On October 12th at the 2024 China Mobile Global Partner Conference, Honor, China Mobile, and JD.com officially launched a three-party strategic partnership. They jointly released an industry-first online direct supply light contract exclusive custom product鈥攖he Honor Play9C.

This collaboration marks a new exploration of upgrading China Mobile's 'Pan-Alliance' model and represents a milestone leap in the field of online pan-all cooperation.

With high-quality intelligent terminals as intermediaries, this three-party joint effort sees China Mobile co-designing an online-exclusive product with Honor鈥攏amely, the Play9C. Based on specific contract policies for online exclusives, China Mobile will exclusively match its direct supply light contracts to this model and designate JD.com as the first channel for selling it online. This breaks away from previous limitations where purchases could only be made through 'China Mobile's Official Flagship Store,' providing a dedicated shopping experience at Honor鈥檚 official store on JD.

This collaboration is China Mobile's first significant joint action following its strategic investment in Honor, marking an important step towards deeper integration of resources among leading terminal manufacturers, major operators, and top retail channels. Through collaborative efforts such as tackling challenges together, aligning supply with demand, sharing outcomes, etc., they aim to bring more innovative products and quality services to the market while enhancing user experience.

The three parties will also maximize business synergies by exploring new models for online channel innovation in smart terminal industries, driving upgrades within the industry's online distribution chain. This opens up a brand-new space of imagination for commercial model innovations.
