Intel CEO Patrick Gelsinger Addresses Future Plans at March 31st Event; Focus Shifts to Upcoming May Trip to Taiwan
American chip giant Intel will hold the Intel Vision event from March 31st to April 1st. New CEO Patrick Gelsinger is set to deliver an opening speech at this event, marking his first public appearance since taking office on March 18th.

Last year's participation of Intel and other semiconductor giants like NVIDIA and AMD in COMPUTEX keynote speeches made it a global focal point. If Gelsinger can represent Intel at the upcoming Computex from May 20th to 23rd, he could further enhance its relevance.

The Bureau of Foreign Trade has stated that they have contacted Taiwan's Intel regarding announcements about speakers for the upcoming Computex in 2025.

Born in Malaysia and having taken office on March 18th, Gelsinger previously served as CEO at electronic design automation software company Cadence from 2009 to 2021. He has extensive experience within the semiconductor industry and a good understanding of Taiwan's supply chain.

The opening speech by Patrick Gelsinger starting in Las Vegas on March 31st will be his first public appearance, gathering Intel customers and partners globally for discussions about opportunities through continuous computing innovation as well as future collaborations.

Intel Vision showcases how Intel technology drives new solutions and business opportunities during the AI era. Attendees can explore latest technologies such as artificial intelligence personal computers (AI PCs), advanced data centers, edge computing, and networking solutions to expand their use of AI.
